How to Propagate Flowers from Cuttings?

Choose a healthy, non-flowering stem

Use clean, sharp pruning shears

Cut a 4–6 inch section just below a node

Remove flowers and buds

Remove leaves from the lower half

Dip the cut end in rooting hormone

Fill a small pot with moist, well-draining potting mix

Make a hole in the soil with a pencil or stick

Insert the cutting into the hole

Firm the soil around the stem

Water lightly

Cover with a clear plastic bag or dome if needed

Place in bright, indirect light

Keep the soil consistently moist, not soggy

Check for root growth after a few weeks

Transplant once roots are established
