Open the Instagram post containing the image
Tap the three-dot menu on the post
Select Save to save it within Instagram
Take a screenshot if you want a copy on your device
Use the share option if the post allows sending it to another app
Download the image only if you have permission from the owner
Use Instagram’s data download tool to export your account content
Save the image from the exported files if it is included there
