How to Update Processor?

Identify the exact processor model supported by your motherboard

Check motherboard socket type and chipset compatibility

Update the motherboard BIOS if required for the new processor

Power off the computer and unplug it from the wall

Disconnect all cables and open the case

Ground yourself to prevent electrostatic discharge

Remove the existing CPU cooler

Clean off old thermal paste from the cooler and CPU

Release the CPU socket retention mechanism

Remove the old processor carefully

Place the new processor into the socket without forcing it

Lock the socket retention mechanism

Apply fresh thermal paste if needed

Reinstall the CPU cooler securely

Reconnect the cooler fan cable to the motherboard

Close the case and reconnect all cables

Power on the computer and enter BIOS/UEFI

Verify that the new processor is detected

Check CPU temperature and system stability

Install any required chipset or system drivers

Run a stress test or normal workload to confirm proper operation
