Back up important files
Close all open programs
Open the Start menu
Search for Defragment and Optimize Drives
Open the tool
Select the drive you want to defragment
Click Analyze
Click Optimize
Wait for the process to finish
Repeat for other drives if needed
Schedule automatic optimization if desired
