Choose a substrate coated for sublimation or a sublimation-compatible item
Design the artwork in mirror image
Print the design using sublimation ink on sublimation paper
Trim the printed transfer if needed
Place the transfer face down on the item
Secure it with heat-resistant tape
Preheat the heat press to the recommended temperature
Set the correct time, temperature, and pressure for the material
Insert protective paper or a protective sheet if needed
Press the item for the required time
Remove the transfer paper carefully after pressing
Let the item cool completely
Inspect the result for color, alignment, and clarity
