Thaw the snow crab legs if frozen
Rinse the legs under cold water
Steam, boil, bake, or grill until heated through
Let the legs cool slightly before handling
Twist off the legs at the joints if needed
Bend each leg to crack the shell
Use kitchen shears or a crab cracker to split the shell
Pull out the meat in one piece if possible
Remove any cartilage or shell fragments
Dip the meat in melted butter, lemon, or sauce if desired
Eat the meat directly from the shell or with a fork
Repeat with each leg and claw section
