Back up any important data on the drive
Open File Explorer
Right-click the drive you want to format
Select Format
Choose FAT32 from the File system dropdown
Keep or change the Allocation unit size if needed
Enter a volume label if desired
Check Quick Format if you want a faster format
Click Start
Confirm the warning prompt
Wait for the format to complete
Click OK when finished
