Check the SD card adapter lock switch and slide it to unlock
Remove and reinsert the SD card
Try the SD card in another device or card reader
Clean the metal contacts on the SD card gently
Use Diskpart on Windows to clear read-only attributes
Use Disk Utility on macOS to erase or reformat the card
Remove write protection using the device’s settings if available
Scan for malware that may be locking the card
Format the SD card if data recovery is no longer needed
Replace the SD card if it remains write protected
