Cut loose threads around the hole
Trim a patch slightly larger than the hole
Place the patch behind the hole
Pin or clip the patch in place
Sew around the hole by hand or with a sewing machine
Use a zigzag stitch or straight stitch to secure the edges
Reinforce weak spots with extra stitches
Trim excess patch fabric
Turn jeans right side out
Press the repaired area with an iron
