Use Amazon Household to share eligible Kindle books between two adults
Go to Amazon Household and add the other adult to your household
Turn on sharing of eligible content in Household settings
On the Kindle book’s product page, check whether it is eligible for Family Library sharing
In your Amazon account, open Content and Devices
Select the book you want to share
Choose Add to Library or share it with your Household member if available
On the other person’s Kindle device or Kindle app, sync the library
Download the shared book from their library
Use Family Library to share books with children through parental controls
If sharing is not available, check whether the publisher has disabled lending or sharing
For borrowed books from Kindle Unlimited or Prime Reading, access them only through the account that borrowed them
Use Send to Kindle only for personal documents, not for sharing purchased Kindle books
Make sure both accounts are in the same country or region if required by Amazon
Remove a shared book from Household settings if you no longer want to share it
