Open the window fully or as far as needed to access the screen
Look for tabs, latches, clips, or springs holding the screen in place
If there are pull tabs, grip them and pull the screen inward slightly
If there are spring-loaded pins, push the screen toward the springs to release tension
Tilt one side of the screen inward
Lift the opposite side out of the window frame
Remove the screen carefully from the opening
Set the screen aside on a flat surface
If the screen is stuck, check for paint, dirt, or additional fasteners before forcing it out
