How to Thread Tie Down Straps?

Place the strap over or around the load and align the buckle or ratchet

Feed the loose end through the slot or spindle of the buckle or ratchet

Pull the strap through until it is snug

If using a ratchet, open the handle fully before threading

Insert the strap end through the bottom slot of the ratchet spindle

Pull the strap through the top slot and remove slack

Close and pump the ratchet handle to tighten

Keep the strap flat and untwisted while threading

Make sure the strap is centered on the load

Secure the loose end so it does not flap during transport

Check that the strap is locked in place before moving the load
