Plug in the FoodSaver vacuum sealer
Open the lid and place a FoodSaver bag or roll end into the sealing channel
Leave enough bag length for sealing
Close the lid firmly until it locks
Select the correct setting for dry or moist food if available
Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber
Make sure the bag opening is flat and free of wrinkles
Press the vacuum and seal button
Wait for the machine to remove air and seal the bag
Check that the seal is complete and even
Store the sealed food in the refrigerator, freezer, or pantry as needed
For liquids or moist foods, freeze or chill before sealing if necessary
For bags made from a roll, cut the bag to the desired length before sealing one end
To open a sealed bag, cut it with scissors or a knife
Clean the drip tray and sealing area after use
Unplug the machine when finished
