Add ingredients to the Instant Pot inner pot
Place the lid on and set the steam release to Venting if using a standard lid
Press the Slow Cook button
Adjust the cooking time with the + and – buttons
Select the temperature setting if available: Less, Normal, or More
Use Less for low, Normal for medium, and More for high
Make sure the pot is set to Slow Cook and not Pressure Cook
Stir ingredients if needed before starting
Press Start if your model requires it
Keep the lid on during cooking
Check food for doneness near the end of the cooking time
Use a separate glass lid if your model or recipe recommends it
Switch to Keep Warm after cooking if desired
Remove food carefully and turn off the Instant Pot
