Gather your materials: iron on vinyl, cutting machine, weeding tool, heat source, and the fabric item
Design your image or text in cutting software
Mirror the design before cutting
Place the vinyl shiny side down on the cutting mat
Cut the design
Weed away the excess vinyl
Preheat the fabric and remove wrinkles
Place the design on the fabric with the carrier sheet facing up
Position the design correctly
Cover with a pressing sheet or parchment paper if needed
Apply heat and pressure with an iron or heat press
Follow the recommended time, temperature, and pressure for the vinyl type
Let the design cool if required
Peel the carrier sheet according to the vinyl instructions
Press again if needed to secure the design
Wait before washing the finished item
Wash inside out and avoid harsh drying if recommended
