Clean and dry the surface
Cut or prepare the item to be covered
Apply a thin, even layer of Mod Podge with a brush or foam applicator
Place the paper, fabric, or material onto the wet Mod Podge
Smooth out bubbles and wrinkles with your fingers or a brayer
Apply another thin layer of Mod Podge over the top
Let it dry completely
Add additional coats if needed, letting each coat dry first
Sand lightly between coats if a smoother finish is desired
Allow the final project to cure fully before use
