Unplug the coffee machine and let it cool completely
Remove the filter, filter basket, and any removable parts
Empty the water reservoir and drip tray
Wash removable parts with warm water and mild dish soap
Rinse all removable parts thoroughly
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth
Clean the carafe with warm soapy water
Rinse the carafe well
Run a descaling cycle with a coffee machine descaler or vinegar if needed
Run two to three cycles of clean water to rinse out any residue
Dry all parts completely before reassembling
Reassemble the machine and plug it back in
