How To Clean Keurig?

Unplug the Keurig and remove the water reservoir

Empty any remaining water from the reservoir

Wash the reservoir, lid, and removable parts with warm soapy water

Rinse thoroughly and reattach the reservoir

Fill the reservoir with fresh water

Place a mug on the drip tray

Run a brew cycle with no K-Cup (use only water)

If descaling: fill the reservoir with Keurig descaling solution to the fill line

Start a brew cycle without a K-Cup

Continue brewing until the reservoir is empty or reaches the “Add Water” level

Rinse the reservoir, then refill with fresh water to the maximum line

Run multiple no-K-Cup brew cycles until the water reservoir is empty and the system runs clear

If needed, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and dry

Remove and rinse the K-Cup holder and funnel area if accessible

Clean the drip tray and drip tray cover with warm soapy water, then dry and reassemble

Wipe and dry the needle area around the K-Cup holder if accessible

Refill the reservoir with fresh water and run 1 final no-K-Cup brew cycle
