Use *67 before dialing in the U.S. and Canada to hide your caller ID for that call
On iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Show My Caller ID and turn it off
On Android, open the Phone app > Settings > Calling accounts or Supplementary services > Caller ID > Hide number
Contact your carrier and ask to block outgoing caller ID on your line
Use a secondary phone number or VoIP number for calls and texts
Set caller ID blocking in your carrier account if available online
Use a private or restricted number setting in your phone’s call settings
Check that your number is not listed in public directories or caller ID databases
Use messaging apps or encrypted calling apps instead of regular phone calls
Be aware that emergency services and some toll-free numbers may still see your number
