Wash and dry the broccoli
Cut the broccoli into florets
Place the broccoli on a baking sheet
Drizzle with olive oil
Add salt and pepper
Toss to coat evenly
Spread in a single layer
Roast for 15 to 20 minutes
Flip halfway through
Remove when edges are browned and tender
Serve immediately
