Remove the husk and silk from the corn.
Rinse and pat the corn dry.
Wrap each ear in a damp paper towel.
Place wrapped corn on a microwave-safe plate.
Microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes per ear.
Carefully turn the corn halfway through cooking (if cooking more than 1 ear or if your microwave heats unevenly).
Let stand for 1 minute.
Unwrap and check tenderness; microwave in additional 30-second intervals if needed.
Serve immediately.
