Freeze 3–4 ripe bananas (sliced) for at least 4 hours, or overnight
Add frozen bananas to a blender or food processor
Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed
Add 1–2 tbsp milk (dairy or non-dairy) if needed to help blending
Add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Add 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
Blend again until creamy and thick
Taste and adjust sweetness or texture
Serve immediately for soft-serve consistency
For firmer ice cream, transfer to a container and freeze 1–2 hours before serving
