Open the app drawer or home screen
Press and hold the app icon
Tap Uninstall
Confirm the uninstall
If Uninstall is not shown, drag the app to Uninstall if available
If the app is a system app, open Settings
Tap Apps or Apps & notifications
Select the app
Tap Uninstall if available
If Uninstall is unavailable, tap Disable
Confirm the action
For apps installed from Google Play
Open Google Play Store
Search for the app
Open the app page
Tap Uninstall
Confirm the uninstall
For apps with device admin access
Open Settings
Tap Security or Privacy
Tap Device admin apps
Turn off admin access for the app
Go back to Settings
Uninstall the app
For work profile apps
Open Settings
Tap Accounts or Passwords & accounts
Remove the work profile if allowed
Uninstall the app
For apps that cannot be removed normally
Restart the phone
Try uninstalling again
Use Safe Mode if needed
Uninstall the app from Safe Mode
