Cut a strip of strong fabric, leather, or cord to the desired length
Make a pouch in the center to hold the object
Attach two equal-length cords to opposite sides of the pouch
Tie or secure one cord to your dominant hand
Hold the other cord as the release end
Place the object in the pouch
Swing the sling in a controlled motion
Release the free cord at the right moment to launch the object
