Pick a fresh rose that is dry and free of damage
Remove excess leaves and trim the stem
Place the rose between two sheets of absorbent paper
Put the paper inside a heavy book or flower press
Close the book or tighten the press firmly
Add extra weight on top if needed
Keep it pressed in a dry place for 2 to 4 weeks
Check the rose carefully after the drying period
Remove it gently once fully flattened and dry
Store it flat in a frame, book, or airtight container
