Open the lock using the current combination
Locate the reset tool, reset lever, or reset button if your lock has one
Turn or press the reset mechanism according to the lock’s design
Set the dials or numbers to your new combination
Return the reset mechanism to its original position
Scramble the dials to lock in the new combination
Test the new combination several times before using the lock normally
If you do not know the current combination, contact the manufacturer or a locksmith
