How To Draw A Deer?

Draw an oval for the deer’s body

Add a smaller oval for the head attached to the front of the body

Sketch a neck connecting the head to the body

Draw four legs as simple lines or tapered tubes under the body

Add hooves at the bottom of each leg

Place a guideline for the deer’s torso direction (slight tilt)

Block in the tail with a small oval or curved shape at the back

Draw the ears as two triangles or rounded shapes on top of the head

Add antlers (for a buck) as branching lines extending upward from the top of the head

Refine the muzzle with a small circle/oval for the nose and a curved line for the mouth

Add eye detail with a small circle and a slight highlight

Connect shapes with light sketch lines to form a smooth deer silhouette

Adjust leg proportions so the front and back legs match the pose

Thicken the legs and add simple muscle contours with curved lines

Erase extra construction lines

Add fur texture lightly with short, curved strokes along the body

Add shadow under the belly and around the legs

Finalize antler branches with clearer lines and small tines

Darken the final outlines and clean up edges
