Check whether the zipper slider is still on the track
Align both sides of the zipper teeth evenly
Move the slider all the way to the bottom
Insert the missing side of the zipper teeth into the slider
Hold the zipper tape firmly on both sides
Pull the slider up slowly while keeping the teeth aligned
If the slider will not catch, remove the top stop if needed
Reinsert both zipper sides into the slider from the bottom
Use pliers to press the top stop back into place if removed
Test the zipper several times to make sure it stays on track
Replace the slider if it is bent or damaged
Replace the entire zipper if the teeth are broken or missing
