Choose a smoothie base: milk, yogurt, kefir, plant milk, or water
Pick your fruit: fresh or frozen berries, bananas, mango, peaches, or mixed fruit
Add liquid first to blend smoothly
Add soft ingredients next (banana, yogurt, nut butter)
Add frozen ingredients last (berries, ice, frozen fruit)
Add optional boosters: protein powder, chia seeds, flaxseed, oats, spinach, cocoa, cinnamon
Use a sweetener only if needed: honey, maple syrup, dates, or vanilla
Start with a basic ratio: 1 cup liquid to 1 to 2 cups fruit/ice
Blend until smooth: start low, then increase speed
If too thick, add a splash of liquid and blend again
If too thin, add more frozen fruit or ice and blend again
Taste and adjust: add more sweetener, salt (a pinch), or spices if desired
Serve immediately or pour into a sealed container and refrigerate up to 24 hours
