Turn off power to the pump at the breaker
Open a nearby faucet to relieve pressure
Locate the priming plug on the pump housing
Remove the priming plug
Fill the pump housing with clean water until full
Reinstall the priming plug securely
Turn the power back on
Start the pump
Let the pump run until water flows steadily
Turn off the pump if it does not prime after a short time
Recheck the water level in the pump housing
Inspect for air leaks in fittings, valves, and suction line
Tighten any loose connections
Repeat the priming process if needed
Restore normal operation once water pressure is stable
