Park the car on a level surface and let the engine cool completely
Open the hood and locate the coolant reservoir
Check the coolant level against the MIN and MAX marks
If needed, slowly remove the reservoir cap
Use the correct coolant type specified in the owner’s manual
Mix coolant with distilled water if required by the product
Pour coolant into the reservoir until it reaches the MAX line
Do not overfill
Reinstall the reservoir cap securely
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes
Recheck the coolant level after the engine cools again
Add more coolant if the level drops below the proper mark
Close the hood securely
