Do not give acetaminophen more often than every 4 to 6 hours
Do not give ibuprofen more often than every 6 to 8 hours
Do not exceed the maximum daily dose for either medicine
Use only one medicine if it controls the fever or pain

Ask a doctor before using ibuprofen if there is vomiting, dehydration, kidney disease, stomach ulcers, or bleeding problems
