Gather supplies: white school glue, baking soda, contact lens solution (boric acid), optional food coloring, optional glitter, optional lotion or saline solution (if needed)
Choose a mixing container and a stirring tool
Add 1/2 cup white school glue to the container
Add a few drops of food coloring and mix (optional)
Add glitter (optional)
Add 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and mix until evenly combined
Add contact lens solution a little at a time (start with 1–2 tablespoons) and stir continuously
Keep adding contact lens solution until the slime starts to form and pull away from the sides
Knead the slime with clean hands for 1–3 minutes until smooth
If too sticky, add a small amount of contact lens solution and knead again
If too firm, add a small amount of glue and knead until the texture improves
Store in an airtight container when not in use
