Open the Phone app
Tap More (three dots) or Settings
Tap Caller ID & spam
Turn on Filter spam calls
Turn on Block spam calls
Open Settings on your Android device
Search for “Spam” or “Call screening”
If available, enable Call Screen (Google)
In the Phone app, ensure spam/blocked numbers use your Google spam database
Block specific numbers: open the call log entry → tap the number → Block/report spam
Report spam: open the call log entry → tap Report spam
Enable “Do not disturb” for calls from “Unknown” callers (settings may vary)
Turn on “Block unknown calls” if your device offers it
In the Messages app, enable spam protection: Settings → Spam protection (if available)
Use a reputable call-blocking app from the Play Store (only if needed)
Keep your Phone app and Google app updated
Check your carrier’s call-blocking/spam services in the carrier app or website
Review and remove any blocked-number filters that may be preventing desired calls
