Open the Camera app on your laptop
Press the webcam function key on your keyboard if your laptop has one
Check your laptop’s privacy shutter and open it if closed
Enable camera access in your operating system settings
Allow camera permission for the app you want to use
Open the video app or website and select the built-in webcam
Update or reinstall the webcam driver if the camera does not work
Restart your laptop if the webcam still does not turn on
