Start with a square sheet of paper
Fold the paper in half diagonally to form a triangle
Fold the triangle in half again to form a smaller triangle
Fold the left corner of the top layer down toward the center line
Fold the right corner of the top layer down toward the center line
Flip the paper over
Fold the left corner down toward the center line
Fold the right corner down toward the center line
Unfold only the last folds to leave creases as guides
Fold the left flap inward along the crease
Fold the right flap inward along the crease
Flip the paper over
Fold the left flap inward along the crease
Fold the right flap inward along the crease
Fold the whole shape in half so the points align
Open the shape slightly and tuck the inner flaps into the pockets formed by the folds
Repeat the same folding/tucking pattern for the remaining sides to form all points
Pinch and press along all edges to lock the star shape
Adjust the points so they are evenly spaced
Crease firmly along the final edges to finish the paper ninja star
