How To Recall In Outlook?

Open Outlook and go to the Sent Items folder

Double-click the email you want to recall

Select File

Select Info

Select Resend or Recall

Select Recall This Message

Choose Delete unread copies of this message or Delete unread copies and replace with a new message

Select whether to receive a recall success or failure notification

Click OK

If replacing the message, edit it and send the updated email

Make sure both you and the recipient use Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft 365 in the same organization

Recall only works if the recipient has not opened the message

Recall may not work for external recipients or in some Outlook apps
