Open the Venmo app and sign in
Go to your profile or wallet
Make sure your account is set up and verified
Share your Venmo username, phone number, or email with the sender
Ask the sender to choose your profile in Venmo
Have the sender enter the amount and tap Pay
Confirm the payment appears in your Venmo balance
If needed, accept or complete any pending payment request
Transfer your Venmo balance to your bank account if desired
