Open the Venmo app
Tap your profile picture or the menu icon
Go to Settings
Tap Privacy
Set your default privacy setting to Private
Change past transactions to Private
Set Friends List to Private if needed
Turn off Public transaction visibility for future payments
Review each payment before sending and select Private
Avoid sharing transaction details in comments or notes
Check privacy settings regularly after app updates
