Apply a cold compress to the eyes for 5–10 minutes
Use chilled cucumber slices over closed eyes
Place cold, damp tea bags on the eyes for 5–10 minutes
Splash the face with cold water
Use a wrapped ice pack gently around the eye area
Elevate the head for a few minutes
Gently massage around the eyes toward the temples
Use preservative-free artificial tears if eyes feel irritated
Avoid rubbing the eyes
Drink a glass of water
Take a short break and breathe slowly to reduce further swelling
