Swipe down from the top of the screen twice to open Quick Settings
Look for the Screen recorder icon
If you do not see it, tap the three dots or Edit buttons and add Screen recorder to Quick Settings
Tap Screen recorder
Choose sound settings if prompted
Tap Start recording
Wait for the countdown to finish
Use the floating toolbar to pause or stop recording
Tap Stop when finished
Find the video in Gallery or My Files under Movies or Screen recordings
