Ask if your W-2 was sent electronically and confirm your email address
If you worked for a staffing agency or former employer, contact them directly
Wait until after January 31, when employers are required to provide W-2s
If you still do not receive it, call the IRS at 800-829-1040
Use IRS Form 4852 as a substitute if you need to file your tax return without it
Check whether your state tax agency or payroll provider has access to your W-2 copy
