Turn the phone off immediately
Do not charge it
Remove the case
Remove the SIM card and tray
Remove any accessories
Wipe the outside with a dry cloth
Hold the phone with the ports facing down
Gently tap it against your hand to help drain water
Place it in a dry, well-ventilated area
Use a fan to blow air across it
Leave it to dry for at least 24 to 48 hours
Do not use a hair dryer, oven, or microwave
Do not put it in rice
Do not press buttons repeatedly
Do not shake it hard
If it was salt water or dirty water, get it serviced as soon as possible
If it will not turn on after drying, take it to a repair shop
