Hold the bottle firmly
Turn the pump head counterclockwise to unlock it
If it does not turn, pull the pump head up slightly while twisting
Press down and twist again if it is a locking pump
Remove any plastic seal or stopper from the pump tube if present
Prime the pump by pressing it several times until shampoo comes out
