Open the group text conversation
Tap the group name, info icon, or details button
Select Add Contact, Add Person, or Add Participant
Choose the person you want to add from your contacts
Confirm the addition
If the app does not allow adding people directly, create a new group text with the desired participants
Make sure the person’s phone number is saved correctly in your contacts before adding them
