How to Adjust a Hunter Sprinkler Head?

Turn on the sprinkler zone and observe the spray pattern

Locate the adjustment screw on top of the Hunter sprinkler head

Use a flathead screwdriver to turn the screw clockwise to reduce spray distance

Use a flathead screwdriver to turn the screw counterclockwise to increase spray distance

Rotate the nozzle collar by hand to change the spray direction

Turn the radius adjustment screw to fine-tune the spray arc if needed

Lift the riser gently if you need to align the head before adjusting

Check the left and right stop points on adjustable rotor heads

Insert the Hunter adjustment key into the top of the rotor head if required

Turn the key clockwise to decrease the arc

Turn the key counterclockwise to increase the arc

Test the sprinkler again after each adjustment

Repeat the adjustments until the coverage is correct

Make sure the head pops up and retracts properly after adjustment
