Park on level ground facing a flat wall or garage door
Check tire pressure and make sure the vehicle is unloaded
Measure the headlight height from the ground to the center of each headlight
Mark the wall with tape at the same height as the headlight centers
Back the vehicle straight up about 25 feet from the wall
Turn on low beams
Locate the vertical and horizontal adjustment screws on each headlight assembly
Adjust the vertical aim so the top cutoff line sits slightly below the tape mark
Adjust the horizontal aim so the brightest part of the beam is centered slightly to the right of the tape mark for right-hand traffic
Repeat for the other headlight
Recheck both beams together and fine-tune as needed
Test the headlights on a dark road and confirm proper aim
