Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both iPhone and Mac
Make sure both devices are signed in to Apple ID if needed
On Mac, open Finder and click AirDrop in the sidebar
Set Mac AirDrop visibility to Contacts Only or Everyone
On iPhone, open the photo, file, or item you want to send
Tap Share
Tap AirDrop
Select your Mac from the list of nearby devices
On Mac, click Accept if prompted
Wait for the transfer to finish
Find the received file in Downloads or the app that opened it
