Open the Settings app
Tap General
Tap About
Tap Name
Enter the new name
Tap Done
Open Control Center
Press and hold the network settings card
Tap AirDrop if needed to confirm it is enabled
On Mac, open System Settings
Click General
Click About
Click Name
Enter the new name
Press Return
Restart AirDrop if the new name does not appear immediately
