Shuck the corn and remove the silk
Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil
Fill a large bowl with ice water
Add the corn to the boiling water
Blanch for 3 to 5 minutes
Remove the corn with tongs
Immediately transfer the corn to the ice water
Let it cool for the same amount of time it was boiled
Drain the corn well
Use, freeze, or store the blanched corn as needed
